Weeds and grass do not mix, eventually if given the opportunity weeds can and will take over. Thankfully there is a simple solution to kicking those pesky weeds to the kerb. 

Selective herbicides: 

At Kerb Appeal we utilise the best selective herbicides we can find to target whichever weeds you presently have in your lawn. Applying selective herbicides in early Spring is often best practice depending on the weed variety you have.

Pre-emergent herbicides:

Ever thought, how good would it be if there was a spray that prevented weeds from growing? We'll you're welcome. Pre-emergent herbicides stop weeds at the seed germination faze preventing them from coming to the surface. This is often best applied in September and February, providing at-least 6 months of weed prevention.

Often the best way to get a lawn back and thriving post-selective herbicide application is applying a slow release fertiliser. We utilise a high quality grade slow release product called ProTurf, this product contains all of the essential nutrients your lawn needs to get that green glow you desire. 

PREVENTION:

Lawn grubs can absolutely devastate a lawn, but this is often easily prevented. Accelapryn GR is a great way to ensure your lawn is defended well from most grubs year round, and it's a product that is 100% safe to use without posing any harm to pets. 

TREATMENT: 

If you've noticed that your lawn has strange patterns of damage occurring and you just can't understand why, you may have some kind of lawn grub. Action needs to be taken as soon as possible. Multi-pest is our go to liquid spray product and is highly effective targeting most lawn grub varieties.
